The Founder
Hi! I’m Megan, an Essex-born but Manchester-based photographer, creative director, and educator with over a decade of experience in the photography and media industry. My career has taken me from high-profile fashion brands to creative content studios, shaping my visual storytelling, branding, and content creation expertise.
I’ve worked with major brands, led creative teams, and mentored the next generation of photographers, all while building a reputation for innovation and excellence. Now, with The Space MCR, I aim to create a hub where brands, photographers, videographers, and content creators can bring their visions to life.

At University, I honed my technical and creative skills in visual storytelling, studio lighting, post-production, and editorial photography. During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in conceptual photography, image composition, and brand storytelling -skills that have been essential throughout my career. My time at university also allowed me to work on live briefs, collaborate with industry professionals, and exhibit my work, marking key milestones in my creative journey.

Masters in Digital Marketing
Northumbria University
Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Digital Marketing, expanding my expertise in brand strategy, content marketing, and audience engagement. This has given me a deeper understanding of how visual content connects with digital audiences, allowing me to merge creativity with data-driven marketing strategies. Through this, I am refining my ability to create impactful campaigns, optimise content for digital platforms, and build brand identities that resonate in the fast-paced online space.
What types of bookings do you accommodate?
We cater to a wide range of bookings, including photography and video shoots, workshops, small events, pop-up exhibitions, and creative meetings. If you have a specific request, feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs!
What are your opening hours?
We are open 8am - 8pm Monday through Sunday, with extended hours and night shoots available upon request.
Can I visit the studio before booking?
Yes! We encourage potential clients to visit the studio for a tour before making a booking. Please reach out to us to schedule a visit.
Is parking available?
Yes, we have on-site parking available for all size vehicles. We also recommend public transport options as we are easily accessible by bus, tram, and train.
Do you offer any additional services?
Yes, we offer additional services such as equipment rentals, on-site technical support, set design assistance, and post-production services. Let us know if you require any of these services, and we’ll tailor our offerings to your project.
What equipment is available on-site?
The Space offers a variety of industry-standard equipment, including lighting setups, backdrops, and photography gear. We have 2 flash heads which also support continuous set ups with a range of attachments, 1 professional video panel, 2 mini video lights, a C-stand and lighting stands, tripod, phone tripod, various backdrops.
